My Gelliprinting & Mixed Media Class is designed for anyone who wants to learn the essentials of Gelliprinting while experimenting with mixed media in a relaxed, small-group setting. Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience, this course will help you build confidence, deepen your knowledge, discover your preferences, and develop your own artistic style.

Duration: 8 weekly sessions

What to Expect

This course provides a solid foundation in Gelliprinting and mixed media techniques, allowing you to explore and develop your own creative direction. Each session will introduce new methods, giving you the opportunity to experiment and find what works best for you. We’ll cover techniques such as:

• Basic Gelliprinting techniques – layering and creating textures
• Using and creating stencils and masks – adding unique patterns and shapes
• Ghost printing – achieving depth and unique layered effects
• Collage techniques – combining elements to build striking compositions
• Image transfers – transfering photos and magazine images and text
• Mixed media methods – crayons, neo-colors, pastels, drawing, stamping, and painting

Throughout the course, you’ll gain insight into what techniques and materials you enjoy most, helping you build a personal creative practice that you can continue long after the course ends.

Materials Provided

To make things easy and enjoyable, for the first lesson all necessary materials will be provided, including:

• A variety of papers to experiment with
• A Gelliplate and a brayer/roller
• Acrylic paint, mixed-media tools such as neo-color crayons, pencils, markers etc.
• Coffee, tea, and snacks

Once you’ve signed up, you’ll receive more information and guidance on materials and any optional tools you might want to explore further.
